The Freiburg Münster built from 1200 until 1513 is an example for an urban citizenship building its own future as the cathedral was not built an financed by the church but by craftsmen and merchants.
So the first day of the architecture workshop startet with a tour around an in the cathedral led by Ulrich Gehmann and Heiner Weigand. The workshop officially startet with lectures by John Marx and Federico Delrosso. See the presentation below…
